Distribution Transformers
Safer voltages suitable for use in homes and businesses.
Vital components of local power distribution networks, converting high-voltage electricity from transmission lines into safe, usable levels for everyday consumption, ensuring uninterrupted access to electricity.
Oil-immersed distribution transformers are essential components of electrical distribution systems. These transformers are housed in a closed structure filled with insulating oil, which serves both as a coolant and an electrical insulator. They step down high-voltage electricity from transmission lines to lower, safer voltages suitable for use in homes and businesses. One distinctive feature is their cooling system, which utilizes corrugated fins attached to the transformer's tank. These fins expand and contract with the volume changes in the oil, ensuring efficient heat dissipation during operation.
Power transformers hold a large number of type tested transformer designs to meet your project and investment needs.
